Typical Sunday Attendance: 16-20. (Three members are home bound and 4 are in-service in other classes; 32 on roll.)

Class Projects:  Monetary help to Bethany home. Assist with Wednesday night meals and Messianic Banquet. Additional monies are provided for some of our members' back-to-school needs and Christmas needs for children. Safe house Christmas gifts.

Profile of Typical Class Member: Co-ed—c ouples, singles, ages 50 to 70. Many have grown children and grandchildren.
Class Projects: As a class, New Wine typically responds to needs as they occur, such as The Caring Fund and particular projects of class members.  Many members are individually involved in a wide variety of ongoing mission/ministry projects and church activities.

Class Projects: The class adopts families at Christmas and has renovated a residential room at the Lovelady Center . Often if a community need arises, meals, labor, and/or class funds are provided to assist with that need.

Profile of Typical Class Member: Co-ed—couples, widows, widowers, ages 60+

Class Projects: Class sponsors one of the medical apartments at 2008 University Blvd. maintained by the Birmingham Baptist Association for families of out-of-state patients who may be in Birmingham for several months waiting for a heart, lung, kidney or bone marrow transplant. Members make weekly visits to the patient or family, take food or whatever is needed. The class makes a monthly contribution for purchasing needed items, and collects quarters weekly for use by families for the washer and dryers.

Class Projects: We participate in the Angel Tree program to provide Christmas presents to families of prisoners. We also contribute a book to the church library in memory of deceased members. Occasionally we help with the feeding program at the Church of the Reconciler.
