The grade-school years are a wonderful time of learning and growth but is also a time of challenges, fears, and disappointments. In a world that changes daily, children need secure places where they feel a keen sense of belonging. In fact, a sense of belonging is a major issue of the elementary school child.
We strive to be a place:
- where children can feel they belong.
- where relationships are formed and nurtured.
- where adults model the Christian faith.
- that meets the developmental needs children.
- of learning and growth for children and adults.

Children's Music, Wednesday, 5:30 pm
Music activities help nurture children in their spiritual growth. Music gives children opportunities to develop their knowledge and experience in music and to participate in worship leadership.
Girls in Action & Royal Ambassadors, Wednesday, 6:15 pm
GA and RAs are the missions education organizations for grade-school children in which girls and boys learn about missions and people who serve as missionaries. Children learn to pray for missionaries and to save and give their money sacrificially to help missions work around the world. They learn to be global citizens as they learn about other cultures and people around the world. Children learn the importance of prayer as it relates to the work around the world that missionaries are involved in.
As GA and RAs participate in mission projects, they learn to share God's love with others and that they can be a part of God's plan for others to know about Him. GA and RAs gives children opportunities to try out their emerging leadership abilities and to understand Jesus' command "Go into all the world." |
