Meditation: Psalms 103: 1-5 (NIV)
Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Thanksgiving
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. (Ps 100:4)
Ask God to remind you of blessings that you have been given in areas of your life:
- At home
- In your work
- In your community
- At church
Thank Him for these blessings!
Confession
Think of times that you have sinned recently and ask for God's forgiveness. Thank Him that we can confess our sins and he promises to forgive us of our sins and forget them as far as the east is from the west. (Ps 103:12)
Reflect on the fact that to repent is to turn away from sin.
Intercessory Prayer
Ask God to bring to mind prayer needs for others that you have been made aware of recently. Pray for those needs and the people involved. Thank God that we can come before Him and pray for others.

Think of our church. Ask God to remind you of prayer needs in our church in areas such as:
- Pastor
- Church Staff
- Sunday School Teachers
- Church Members
- Church Missions
- Stewardship Campaign
Thank God for our church and the many ways He uses it to further His kingdom. Pray that our church will continue to seek God in all our decisions and every step we make in the future. Thank God for the opportunity we have to decrease debt and increase opportunity. Ask God for His blessing on the Stewardship Campaign and our church members as we embark on this effort to reduce our debt. Personal
Consider the place God has you today. Talk with Him about the people you encounter and touch everyday. Ask Him to be present in the work he has called you to do today. He has placed you where you are for a reason!
Consider your role in our church. Ask God to bring to mind ways you can be used of Him in our church. How can you continue to serve Him best? Ask Him to reveal ways you can give of your time, talents, skills, and resources.
Reflection: John 15: 5-8 (The Message)
"I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you're joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can't produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples.”
