Sunday Morning Bible Study
We have a Bible Study for every age and stage at VHBC. Sunday School classes for infants through 12th grade meet in the Children and Student Buildings.
Classes begin at 8:45 am.
In addition to educating preschoolers, children and students, VHBC's adult Bible Study classes are key to developing connections. They provide community, intimacy, and opportunities to grow in your relationship with Christ within a larger family of faith.
An overview of adult classes is provided to help you identify one (or several!) of interest.
Sunday Worship
Worship at VHBC is characterized by sincerity, warmth, and open communication. Words and music are thoughtfully prepared in order for the congregation and visitors to express their love for God, their desire to follow God more closely, and their love for one another.
VHBC's worship service is at 10:00 am. Enter the Main Building through one of the four sets of wooden double doors. Ushers will greet you at the door of the sanctuary and will give you a worship guide to aid in participating in the worship activities.
Children are
an important part of worship at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church.
Four- and Five-Year-Olds participate in worship until after the offering is collected, and then are escorted by their parent to Worship Care. The Worship Care class for Four and Five-Year-Olds begins before the sermon and meets in room 217 of the Children's Building.
To enter the Children's Building from the Sanctuary, you may exit through the front doors and enter the Children's Building at the green awning or go across the front foyer and follow the signs in the hallways.
During the worship hour, children ages Birth through Three-Year-Olds may go to Worship Care, the care of preschoolers during our worship service .
Access from the Parking Lot
The Preschool entrance is found on the lower parking lot. From Beaumont and Vestavia Drive, follow the the driveway and stay to the right. Enter through the double glass doors.
The Children's-level entrance is located on the main level parking lot at the green awning. The Preschool level can be accessed from the "green awning" entrance by coming through the glass doors and taking the elevator to level one. Exit the elevator and turn right to enter the Preschool hallway. |
