The ministry with adults seeks to provide opportunities which assist adults in developing their spiritual lives, enhancing Christian fellowship, and encouraging "hands-on" involvement in helping others.
Sunday Morning Bible Study Classes
Every Sunday morning at 8:45 am, we meet in small groups to study the Bible. Whether you come on your own or as a couple, looking for a co-ed, ladies' or men's class, we have a place for you to form and strengthen relationships, to give a receive support, to have fun and to grow in your faith as you join in the study of scripture.
Women's Bible Studies
These small group offerings provide women the welcomed time and space to be together for weekly prayer and study. The multiple meeting times make finding one to fit your schedule easy, with childcare available during the Monday morning study.
Our current study is The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer, beginning September 11, 12, 13. This series is a 7 week study. Please email Betsy Lowery or call the church office at 205.979.5920 to sign up or for additional information.

Young Adult Bible Study
Young adults gather each week on Thursday evenings for a great meal, conversation, and Bible study. The group meets from 6:30 to 8:30 at a host home in Vestavia Hills. Contact Mike McBrayer, Minister of Discipleship and Missions,to find out more information or to join in on their next meeting.
Pastor's Bible Study
Every Wednesday morning during the school year, Dr. Furr teaches adults on a wide variety of topics with discussion – often a book of the Bible or some aspect of the Christian life or doctrine. All you need is a Bible and an inquisitive mind! Occasionally, a particular book is ordered for everyone who wants to purchase a copy. This group meets on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30am in the Adult Seminar Room across from the Library. Please join in.
People of all ages join together every Wednesday morning at 6:30 am in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast followed by a time of Scripture sharing and prayer. Each week, prayer breakfast participants pray for and mail dozens of prayer cards for people listed on our church prayer list and missionaries around the world.
