All Together: How God Makes One of Many
January 10, 17, 24, & 31
Gary Furr
How does God use the gospel to call the church into being, creating a fellowship unified in Christ though its members are different in their stories and perspectives? We will look to major passages in the New Testament and discover how they guide in being God’s church. Join us for this four-part Bible study as we meet all together in the Fellowship Hall.

Great Books
February 21, 28, March 7 & 14
LaRue Speights, Ryan Hankins, Laura Tadlock and other members share from great books that have engaged and encouraged their faith, such as Cry, The Beloved Country; Help, Thanks, WOW; and My Ántonia.

Ukulele Choir
February 21, 28, March 7 & 14
Come learn, play and sing a little with Brent Warren and fellow church members. Get that ukulele out of the attic, borrow one from your Uncle Joe, or pick one up at the music store. We will learn a mix of sacred and secular music while we learn, laugh and worship together.

Act Your Age: Worshipping Together
April 4 & 11
Eric Mathis
How does our age prompt us to have different expectations, needs, and hopes for worship? Our stages in life can provide rich contributions to the gathered community, including the way we worship together. Dr. Eric Mathis, Associate Professor of Church Music and Worship Leadership at Samford University, will be with us to encourage us to think across the ages and to welcome both the tension and the richness that our diversity brings to worship.

VHHS Jazz Band
April 18
Band Director, Mr. Jerrell Horton, brings the Vestavia Hills High School Jazz Band, including six youth from VHBC, for a spring concert.

Shrimp Boil
