Lent offerings starting in February & March at VHBC!
Please join the Vestavia Hills Baptist Church Women’s Bible Study as we meet together this Spring and learn more about Spiritual Disciplines through Kelly Minter's book and video series Encountering God.
This is a 7 session study which attempts to unpack the biblical foundations for spiritual disciplines and offers practical ways to practice prayer, study, worship, generosity, rest, etc.
Tuesday mornings will meet from 9:30a-11a on February 21 and 28, March 7, 14 and 21, April 4 and 11
Sunday evenings will meet from 5:30p-7p on February 19 and 26, March 5, 12 and 19, April 2 and 16 (skipping the 9th as it is Easter Sunday).
Books are $16.99 each and can be pre-ordered when you register at the link below.
Trek to the top of Shades Mountain and join us every Wednesday this March for a Journey Thru Lent.
Join us Wednesday, February 22nd as we begin the Lenten season with our Ash Wednesday service in the sanctuary at 6 pm and continue with Alexis Johnson on Wednesdays in March as she facilitates the study and discussion.
Come early each Wednesday for a free dinner in the fellowship hall!
