Your Invitation to Fall Kickoff

As we kickoff the new church year at VHBC, we do so with this in mind — we’re invited. We’re invited, all of us, to know the grace of God, to share faith together, and to join in God’s mission. This is the perfect time to take place at the table, to seek out fresh ways of serving in the church, and to more deeply connect your family at VHBC.

This year’s fall schedule will include a few new invitations for us. We will have a church-wide Fall Kickoff Lunch, following worship on Sunday, August 11. Taco salad on the house! Let’s fill the Fellowship Hall! Another new invite is to participate in our Eight on a Plate groups. Individuals and couples may sign up to be a part of dinner groups that will meet periodically over the fall semester. Some groups will be “Nine on a Napkin” or perhaps “Seven on a Sandwich.” It’s not the number that matters, but it’s the fellowship that will be enjoyed. Groups may choose to meet out for a meal or host one another in their homes. Our Wednesday Sessions and Worship services will also present some new opportunities for us in the coming weeks. Look for ways you can respond to the countless good things that God is bringing about in our midst and extend an invitation to friends and neighbors to join in. No reservations required!
