Francis and Missy Ward Angalla, Founders of Amani Sasa
Wednesday, October 1, Meet Missy Ward-Angalla, Founder of Amani Sasa and one of Alabama CBF’s ministry partners. In 2010, Missy began teaching English to refugees in Kampala, Uganda. Seeing the gaps in services for vulnerable refugee women, God placed a calling on her heart to provide a safe haven.
By 2013, Missy, in partnership with Refuge and Hope, opened Uganda’s first shelter for refugee women. In 2018, Missy and her husband, Francis, envisioned a more holistic ministry to serve refugee women, men, and children.
This vision became Amani Sasa, a ministry that now supports over 450 refugee families annually through transformative, wrap-around services. Come hear about this amazing work of hope and transformation!
