The invitation is extended to the whole community. Faith becomes a shared journey of drawing near to God and to one another.

Calling all crafters! Join VHBC for its second annual Maker's Market and Craft Fair!
Do you craft? Do you make? We need you as a vendor! We want to fill the Fellowship Hall with artists, makers, and creators and share your story and gifts with everyone in the community!

This event coincides with our annual Shepherd's Concert on Sunday, September 20th, during worship. And for a special reason! A portion of the receipts from the sales at the craft fair will go to the Shepherd Scholarship Fund!
Grief is a subject that we don’t like to talk about. But because we love so deeply, we all grieve when one of our loved ones dies, whether it be a spouse, a child, another family member, or a long-time cherished friend. None of us is immune from grief; it has happened or will happen sooner or later to all of us.
VHBC holds space for a grief support group for our members and residents of the surrounding community. It will be a sacred time each month for those of us who are grieving a current or long-ago death to come together and learn more about facing a loss and seeking to find hope once again in our lives. Each meeting will be held at VHBC in the library from 3:30-5 pm.
