Wednesdays in October at 10 am in the Seminar Room, explore Psalms 120-134, also known as The Psalms of Ascent, with Laura Tadlock. These 15 ancient psalms were sung by Hebrew pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem for annual worship festivals. Alongside these Psalms, Laura will supplement with Eugene Peterson’s A Long Obedience in the Same Direction. Peterson treats the climb to Jerusalem as a picture of spiritual growth and maturity, defining true faith as a persistent, daily commitment.
